The Great Escape

Plot

The German Luftwaffe command organises an 'escape proof' POW camp, Stalag Luft III. Its purpose is to imprison Allied airmen who've already made a nuisance of themselves by continually trying to escape.

The resourceful POWs organise themselves, forming a team headed by the experienced-escapee Roger Bartlett, known as 'Big X'. The team set about digging 3 escape tunnels, 'Tom', 'Dick' and 'Harry'.
